Italian Gardens is a restaurant on base, so you'll only be able to eat there if you have access.  It's located in a big building right at the main gate on the 2nd floor.  Like most places on base, it looks good at first, but upon actually eating the food, one finds that the cheapest of ingredients have been used.  It all tastes like it was assembled from something that came vacuum sealed or in a can.  That being said, Italian Gardens has some occasionally interesting pizzas, particularly their Pizza of the Month.  Once they had a gorgonzola and honey pizza of the month, which was quite good.  This month it's a Beef Taco pizza, and I had to grab something to bring home, so I thought I'd give it a shot.  At $15.95 for a large, it's incredibly cheap compared with Japanese pizzas.  You do have to use dollars or a credit card if you eat here though.

There was a lunch special on display, so I took a picture of it.  A spicy calzone...looks good no?  The pickled jalapenos are not my thing, but it doesn't look like a bad lunch set at all.

Here's a shot of the pizza once I got home.  It wasn't very good.  I had to slather lots of pesto and some chili peppers on it to get it to taste like anything.  But if you know what you're in for, it shouldn't be too disappointing.
