Ichifuku is probably the closest "local" teishoku place to base.  It's simple, cheap Japanese food, mainly for locals.  It happens to be on Dobuita Street (aka "The Honch"), a famous den of sin, iniquity, and bad beer which parallels the base and across from Daie Mall.  I was complaining the other day that we don't have any teishoku places close enough to regularly eat lunch at, when I remembered this place.  I'd only been there once before and hadn't bothered returning.

It's smokey and grimy.  The food is not that good (not terrible though).  And that about sums it up...I still see no reason to return unless someone is looking for that distinctly "local" feel.

They do have a clear and readable English menu though...
