Holy cow, I think I have my first restaurant review at the Toyosu Mall that's higher than an Ok! Sushi restaurants are always an expensive proposition, and we knew we'd have to get around to this one eventually. It had been a while since our last sushi meal, so we decided to go for it last Sunday after church. Thankfully the menu had lots of bright colorful pictures to help with choosing, and they had some tasty looking fall specials, of which we ordered a couple (my dish and the special ikura).

My son was happy with tamago and tobiko nigiri, but he did ask for asari (clam) miso, which he ate and promptly discarded all the clams. Lucky us! My wife got the sushi/tempura set and I got a fall special maguro set, both of which came with asari miso and some delicious pickles. Everything was quite good, with the best being the fatty tuna of course. The tempura was surprisingly tasty as well with nice vegetables fried but not oily. The tempura dipping broth was amazing! So flavorful.

So over all we were quite pleased, though the price will keep us from going there very often. It definitely deserves its Very Good rating.
