My wife and I decided to go hunting for a new spot to eat last Friday night and we came across this izakaya very near Shiori station called Outlaw Tei.  Actually the sign is in hiragana and says "autorou" but the English menu made it clear what they were going for.

Mandatory appetizer, wakame salad

Speaking of which, they had a very clear and easy to understand English menu, and the waiter spoke quite good English too, which was a pleasant surprise.  They appear to be a one-off, not one of the many izakaya chains that you can find near every train station in Japan.

Avocado and wasabi, a perfect combo

The food was pretty typical for an izakaya, with an emphasis on yakitori, but several other items as well.  We just kept ordering til we were full and had a few drinks as well which I did not get a breakdown on and are therefore included in the price above.  The food was pretty simple but also quite delicious and we both felt it deserved a Very Good.

Baked onion with butter

Fried chicken

Bacon wrapped asparagus

Chicken soup

Liver and chicken skin

Chicken thigh meat
