My wife and I visited some friends in Ishinomaki this last weekend and we were taken to what is possibly the only local Indian restaurant in town:  Ganesh.  It too is run by Nepalese as is virtually every other Indian restaurant in Japan it seems.

The food was decent, but not great.  As with certain other cuisines such as pizza, even when it's bad, it still pretty good, so no complaints here.
